The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.
Reality setting in for Bills fans they arent getting past the Ravens and Chiefs in back to back weeks with that dog crap defense and that coach who pisses his pants in the biggest moments. They know they are our bitch! [Reply]
Those Bills fans are right that the only catch to all this is Jim Harbaugh pulling a rabbit out of his hat and beating the Ravens.
The other thing no one is really talking about, is if the Bengals beat the Steelers next week there is a world where the Broncos or especially the Chargers can pass Pittsburgh and get the 5 seed.
The flipside to that is the Chargers win this week and clinch, they sit everyone and lose next week. The Broncos win the last two and the Chargers could end up as the 7 seed and go to Buffalo. Chargers/Ravens/Chiefs is about as tough of a road as you can have in the AFC just because of the QBs. [Reply]

Their fans are pretty laughable. Yeah guys, when it's playoff time, you actually do have to play good football teams. (pats head) Now go back to throwing dildos and breaking tables... high level shit right there.
I don't remember barely anyone here crying about us having to play Miami, and then having to go play Buffalo and Baltimore in their houses, to only go on to then play SF in a neutral stadium. You'd think Buffalo fans would have thicker skin, but they're really a bunch of crybaby pussies. [Reply]

Good points. All plausible considerations. [Reply]

Yeah of the Steelers, Broncos and Chargers, I think the Chargers are the most dangerous wildcard team for sure. When he is on and hitting on all cylinders, Herbert is pretty freaking good. Harbaugh is a good enough coach to make it a 4 quarter game. Lose the turnover battle and the Chargers could beat the Bills/Ravens and for sure the Texans.
Id prefer Broncos, Texans, Steelers or Texans all over the Chargers in the divisional. [Reply]

Very true, and I'd even throw Justin Jefferson in the mix. But we all know, the MVP has turned into an award only given to QB's. Barkley will likely get offensive POY. [Reply]

They know their defense is vulnerable. We've lived through that, even in Mahomes first year. Problem is you can't get through the AFC without playing elite QBs. You usually can't anyway but there were probably a couple years were Tom Brady slipped through playing guys like Bortles. [Reply]

Yeah those 3 wild card teams are way up in the air. Any one of them could be 5 and any one of them could be 7. The scenarios aren't that crazy if teams start resting guys. That's the million dollar question, are the Chargers and Steelers going to play hard for that 5 seed to avoid Baltimore and Buffalo. [Reply]

Or……and hear me out on this……Baltimore plays Cincinnati in the first round and both QBs suffer season ending injuries meaning that Buffalo faces a backup QB.
Then for the playoffs only KC is moved to the NFC? Then KC (because of the move) is disqualified from the playoffs this year, preventing Buffalo from possibly facing them in the SB.
Starting next year KC would be permanent NFC (which a Bills poster once suggested) team and they get replaced by the New York Giants.
It a win all around for them. They avoid the scary teams with scary QBs while having the easiest possible SB path…..because it’s fair and all. [Reply]

Agreed. I think Josh deserved MVP last year. The only reason why Lamar got it was because of a couple dominant games near the end and playing on the best regular season team. Josh was better last year while Lamar is having an amazing season this year. [Reply]
