The biggest problem with Russ is he isn’t as mobile anymore. I think that is a major reason for his decline. Not sure why bc he’s only 34 but he is a lot like Mahomes in that he was most dangerous outside of the pocket.
The Broncos OL is really really bad and their WR’s are nowher near Metcalf/Lockett quality.
There’s just so much for Denver to have to fix on offense to help him and that’s gonna be hard with his contract numbers jumping up after only one more year.

I'm fine with the Elway comparison. By all means make Russ your franchise QB for years to come. And then when he retires make him part of your front office. [Reply]
