Very pathetic. Seeing how awful Elviros defense is against any legit offense, it's probably for the best. [Reply]
Pete Carroll is one of the most beloved and respected coaches in the league. Russell Wilson constantly pushed back on running the scheme in his later years in Seattle and committed a blatant whisper campaign against Carroll that has ultimately ended up making Wilson look like a complete joke of a QB while Carroll was somewhat vindicated. He gets to Denver and is either completely incompetent or refuses to run Hacketts scheme as intended, ultimately getting him fired before his first season is even completed.
You are locked into his contract for YEARS.
Seriously, who the fuck are you going to hire that actually wants this job? [Reply]
It's going to be some experienced head coach that will be willing to take a shit ton of money to try to make this not a joke for a few years until Russ is gone. Someone that is ok this being their last gig and pay day before retirement. I'm going to throw the name Marvin Lewis out there. [Reply]

Lewis is a defensive guy. Trying to adapt to what can make Russ look salvageable won’t be his forte. The guy who is best for the job is Frank Reich. I like Frank so I want him to land in a better place than the mess in Denver but they would be fortunate to get him.
I pulled together some data on NFL history. In the last 25 years 19 times has a team had 4 years or more with a different QB leading the team in passing for just a single year.
He has the highest winning % of all 19 situations at 54% and only 3 times has those teams been .500 or better and he had a hand in 2 of the 3 with the Eagles being the other when he was OC.
The average winning % for those other 18 times was 36%.
In a league that is a QB driven league he made chicken salad out of chicken shit. Nobody has ever done better with that mess at QB. [Reply]
Marvin Lewis is past expiration. This is what I would do if I were Denver.
They should just give the job to Eric B. and plan to suck shit for the next few years and unload players that have value.
Make Russell Wilson want to give up guaranteed money for freedom. He's so delusional he probably thinks he can still win a SB and would go along with it.
and fire Patton. He's dumb as hell.
Clear the cap space clean and load up on high picks to build a new solid core. [Reply]

If they want Marvin Lewis then just hire Jim Caldwell.
I think they’ll try for Sean Payton (not likely) and Jim Harbaugh. If they don’t work I think they will go for Dan Quinn, who Paton prefers.
A dark horse would be David Shaw IMO. Him and Condoleeza Rice have a close relationship and I don’t think he’d want to turn down the money. [Reply]

Jim Caldwell would be a step up from Marvin Lewis. If you think about it, the Lions are still clawing to get back to the records he was racking up in Detroit. [Reply]
I ain’t gonna keep looking at these false statements about my boii russ man, as a teammate who sees the elite work ethic this man has is incomparable. He got an office because he’s committed his life to this game. I never had a teammate who motivate me more then russ 💯 https://t.co/G8sTe3Hllg

Dude, u won 4 Games. You're GM traded for the worst QB in the league And paid him 245 million dollars before he played one real game.. You own a top 5 pick that goes to Seattle. You have already fired your handpicked HC. Your DC did not even want the interim job. The season was a disaster. And to top it off, you kept the architect of said disaster as GM. Give it up already...:-)
I could not make any of this up even if I tried. You guys keep re inventing ways to suck. You have a losing culture that is not gonna get better anytime soon. Enjoy! We sure as hell are. :-)
