The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

The media AND the league. Especially the league. Look what they did to all of their primary potential AFC playoff rivals - two short rest games for us, Baltimore, Houston and Pittsburgh right at the end of the season, while Buffalo wraps up with New England twice and the Jets. The other four teams pummel the shit out of each other and abuse their bodies while they sleepwalk into the playoffs against two teams who combined to go 11-23 last year, and every game they play this month is on a Sunday. It's not just us that the schedule makers fucked. And let's not forget that the Bills also got their bye at the end of November.
I've never seen the league bend over backward to grease the rails for a single team before like this. It is blatantly obvious and pathetic. This makes the way they were coddled after the Hamlin thing look like a simple pat on the head.

I just don't ever see them getting quickly beat and such like it seems like we do. I dunno if they've just played shit defenses when I watch or what. [Reply]
I wouldn’t be shocked to see us play Denver in the divisional rd.
Buffalo’s defense is awful. They gave up 379 yards to the trainwreck Patriots who are just Drake Maye and a prayer on offense. They also gave up 7/12 3rd down conversions.
The Bills are 29th in 3rd down defense. They’re 25th in pass defense and rely entirely on turnovers which they are #1 in.
Denver is #1 in sacks and pressures and won’t need to rush more than 4. Their offense is ran by Bo Nix but against that shit defense I can see them doing enough to win. [Reply]

If NE had Courtland Sutton, they win that game.
They just didn't have anyone that could win a matchup. That Buffalo defense is a house of cards - any pressure on it at all will bring it down.
I've seen a lot of real paper tiger moments from those guys. Even when they beat us, I felt like we played a C- game and with a single stop late we could've still won the thing.
They don't really worry me at this point. Baltimore is my biggest concern out of the AFC and ultimately just the cumulative effect of playing so much football.
We need the 1 seed for the rest, not for the HFA. [Reply]
I don't see Denver getting it done by any means, I think they'll just be happy to make the playoffs and I can see Nix making 2-3 really stupid throws that cost them in Buffalo. [Reply]
The easiest way to beat Allen in critical spots at the 3rd and 6 or under range is just assume he is going to run it. You call the defense to do what you can to stop that and deal with the backend holding up against pretty sup par separators at the receiver position.
He will make some passes to convert those, but it will be like 60% at best. If he runs it, then it’s probably a 95% success rate. [Reply]
