Felix Anudike-Uzomah was drafted with pick 31 of round 1 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 8.73 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 209 out of 1634 DE from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/maz03OdBwqpic.twitter.com/xoMJ9ki2Pv
He's Jason Taylor, Jared Allen, and Julius Peppers all wrapped up into one awesome football player who happens to play for my favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. [Reply]
I thought so too. All Karlaftis really had at this point was a bull rush and a shitty spin move. FAU has already shown quite a bit more in one game. Like you mentioned too, he was also pretty good with his hands [Reply]

It takes a special sort of dickweed to sleepwalk through 80% of a long-term contract.
Typically that doesn't surface until AFTER someone gets paid... [Reply]
FAU played fast and bendy as a rusher in his NFL preseason debut against the Saints. He had a win a pure outside rush, was quick to flash an inside counter to beat a blocker and demonstrated his patented hustle on his third pressure. It really looked like he was playing at Kansas State again. [Reply]
I fucking love this god damn pick. We haven’t had a true two sided pass rush since Hali and Houston. Unless you count that half season where dee ford was ok. [Reply]
This quote from his nfl.com draft profile fits well:

I wasn't too deep INT he draft discussion this year but I do remember talking to staylor about the surprisingly fast below 7 second 3 cone this guy had at 255 lbs.
I think Karlaftis is pretty capped at what he can do. A lot of what he does is his work ethic, but FAU has him beat technically and athletically. It's not a slight on George either bc I think his work with Tamba will really help him this year.
Just seems weird that people think the DL is horrific without Jones. Yes Jones is elite but there is talent there around him. [Reply]

That might be why he goes a little higher than expected.
