Ravens are not a serious contender. Their defense is catastrophic. Orlando Brown Jr didn’t even start and the Ravens still couldn’t get much pressure on Burrow.
They are 100% relying on Lamar and that won’t work, especially against us.
Our offense will light that shit defense up with ease. We scored 27 on them while making mistakes. We could easily put up 40 next time if we really wanted to [Reply]

If Flacco can just manage ordinary for the rest of the season, the weak AFC South should keep the Colts in playoff position.
And either the Chargers or the Broncos will be fine as well.
The problem for the Colts is that they're facing a pretty tough stretch of games with the Texans/Vikings the last two weeks and Colts, Jets, Lions the next 3.
They could pretty easily lose 4 of 5 in that stretch. If so, they'd need to pretty much run the table against the Pats, Broncos, Titans, Giants and Jags down the stretch.
Which is obviously extremely doable, but they'd really help themselves if they could split against the Bills/Lions and then knock off the Jets on the road. [Reply]
Is that really too hard for you to understand? They don't deserve shit. Lamar, Burrow, Allen. We want them retiring ringless. But it's mainly about the dick riding of then that is weird. [Reply]
There were bad no-calls at the end, but at the start of the game I felt the Bengals got a couple PI or d-holding calls that bailed them out and led to points. It balanced out in the end. [Reply]

For some reason folks on here are really desperate to crown the next rival for us. Saw it all off-season with the Texans and Jets. [Reply]

So, in that way, why not just play for OT and hope you get the ball first, because you're probably fucked no matter what you do.
I get going for two. The Bengals moved the ball well last night and seemed to score pretty well. Baltimore exploded for 21 in the 4th quarter. I would have no confidence in my defense to stop them going into OT. [Reply]

This is why KC is the most dangerous team in the AFC. Their offense wasn’t bad before, but now it’s improving with DHop. It will improve even more when Pacheco and JJSS come back. They also have a top 5 defense and will improve more when Omenihu comes back. [Reply]

I'm fine with either decision for Cincy.
But the major distinction between Cincy and TB is that I don't think that Cincy had nearly the talent disparity that TB had. And unlike TB, I think Cincy did have a path to getting a stop against Baltimore if they could just tighten up a couple mistakes.
TB was drawing dead. Mahomes was going to hit the open man every single time. Baltimore, OTOH, was relying more on broken plays.
So had Cincy decided to take it to OT, I thought they had a shot at a stop and a win even if they lost the coin toss. TB, OTOH, lost the moment the Chiefs won the toss. [Reply]

Now everyone seems to go for the win no matter where you are.
I like to look at everything in a case by case basis, but ultimately going for 2 to win is not something I’ll generally rip apart.
Saving your guys an entire extra quarter of wear, tear and possible injury is a good enough reason on its own.

Uh, yeah, no fucking shit! I can root for the Chiefs to win every Super Bowl ever and still be realistic in saying that Lamar Jackson is objectively an amazing football player.
Why would I listen to you anyway? You’re delusional. You still claim Tom Brady wasn’t that good lol

I’m not trying to crown any new rival. We’re talking about the Ravens and Bengals. They’ve been our main rivals along with the Bills and Brady before he retired. [Reply]
Ravens haven't been rivals since Mahomes got here. We've beaten them all but one time head to head. They routinely flame out in the post season because Jackson can't keep up his standard for a full season and playoff run. He's either hurt and tired or outright injured by late January. It's happened every fucking time. [Reply]
"How I'm feeling right now, wish I was feeling like this, body wise, in the AFC Championship," Jackson told the Washington Post in June in an article published just ahead of Thursday night's rematch with Kansas City. "We would have won the game. I would have been able to move around for my guys. With me just hurting and can't move, I know if my legs were good, we would have won that shit. We wouldn't have even had to throw the ball. F--- throwing the ball." [Reply]

Lamar is getting dinged up and seems less willing to run the ball.
