The thing that's shocked me about the injuries is that nothing changed. Our OL looks the same with and without Bolles, our WRs seem the same with and without Jeudy and Hamler, our running game is pretty much the same with and without Williams. It's not surprising on offense, because it's easily explained by saying they're all bad. The surprising part is that the injuries on defense haven't changed the defensive performance, but they've actually been good on that side of the ball.

We missed on Fields, Jones and Parsons for a CB, we missed on McDaniels and O’Connell (Blowout aside) for Hackett, we traded up and missed on god knows how much talent last year for a RB with no vision who’s career will never be the same, we’ve taken no shots on OL through 2 drafts, we brought in an over-the-hill JAG who FAILED A PHYSICAL to be our savior at RT, and now we have a 34-year old 5’11 mobile QB locked into the worst contract in NFL history. It’s time to look at the guy who put this all in motion.
