I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

If my QB looks elite and your QB looks average, you don't think i'm gonna get on here and point that out, since i don't have the lazy championships argument to throw out there?
If "you" go on about PuHnttttttt GaWWWWd!!!11!!1!! You don't think i'm gonna come on here and say my punter is better? Live in the past all you want, you're able to. I can only live in the right now.
And right now, and pretty much always, your QB chokes in the clutch... And nobody is living in the past. In the present, our QB is clutch and is the QB of the raining Back to Back Champions. Your QB, and his team has never been that, at any time, past or present. :-) [Reply]

You don't need to read the rest of this cause no1currrrr but i'm doing a series of posts on my mothership about Burrow's 1 score losses and who the blame lies with (think Josh Allen-13 seconds). I may or may not post the results here when i'm done.
Yeah, post it here. I'd be interested to see. You'll get some flak, but who doesn't? [Reply]

Chiefs offense goes in the tank and they just happen to get an elite defense to pick up the slack. Fucking anoyyyyyyyyying.
But it just highlights what i've also said before. Your FO is way ahead of the Bengals in talent evaluation.
What’s awesome about that defense is just how many of the starters are homegrown. I believe that Reid, Tranquill, and Omenihu (when he returns) about the only starters who KC signed in FA. It’s really a testament to how elite this organization really is.
They have a first ballot HOF QB/TE, a top 5 all time HC, one of the best DCs in the history of the game, and an elite GM who consistently restocks this team with young talent. This is why KC is a dynasty and will be a prohibitive favorite for quite a while. [Reply]

Joe Burrow is a good QB, but what does stats matter if he can’t give over that hump?
Good for him and his stats, I guess lol.
Well, TBH, you have to be able to put up elite stats in the RS if you're gonna hope to challenge for a SB, for most teams.
It's not a coincidence that names like Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Brady, Stafford, Purdy, Hurts have been at/near the top of the list the last few years.
If you go back to the mid '00s you have Manning, Brady, Roethlisberger, Brees, Rodgers.
The injury claim is legit but the 2 full seasons Burrow has played he was in 2 AFCCG and a SB and this seasom ain't done yet. [Reply]

I don't know how many times i have to bring up 2020 but i'm not doing it anymore. [Reply]

Burrow started playing in 2020 and he has only faced a 1st place schedule twice, and in one of those 2 seasons he was out most of the season. In every other season of his career he has faced a last place schedule.
Having 6 games agains the AFCW every year is not a tough first place schedule. [Reply]

You're overstating the deficiencies of the division a bit. The rest of them do have to face the Chiefs twice each year.
ETA - Furthermore, this was about a comparison of difficulty of schedules and even if we stipulate that the AFC west has been weak for the duration of Mahomes' career, that doesn't tell us anything about the rest of the schedule which has been intentionally tougher given the fact that the Chiefs have faced the first place schedule. No matter how you slice it, I will bet you that the Chiefs schedule with Mahomes at QB has been significantly more difficult than the Bengals schedule has been with Burrow at QB. [Reply]

Your QB is pretty meh right now. The defense is why you won the SB last year and are 5-0 this year. Without that defensive effort, Patty hasn't done enough to win higher scoring games. [Reply]
