We could wonder what they’d look like with a Kirk Cousins or if they’d have made the deal for Stanford instead, but even the latter is 3-6 this year
I don't know....maybe NOT make a bottom 3 trade in league HISTORY. Those 1sts could have helped get a real QB. Oh and if you paid attention BEFORE the season a few of us pointed out how quickly Russ was becoming "cooked". [Reply]
Or, funnily enough, if they'd have just drafted Justin Fields instead of Surtain and found someone that wasn't a complete retard to develop him (staring right at you, Nagy), they'd be well on their way to having the next great dual threat at QB with a plethora of picks and cap space to work with. The league would frown on it, but a savvy owner in the AFC West should be trading 4th round picks now for 1st round picks 20 years from now. Stock up and stage yourself for a dozen first-round picks when Patrick retires. It's more productive than trying to compete now, you won't be that much worse losing the mid-round picks, and I bet you could make that type of trade. [Reply]
I know we've all said it and thought it, but it's just SO glorious that the entitled Donks fans just ASSUMED like it was their birthright or something that Russ was going to come in and lead them back to the promised land like Peyton.
And their stunned disbelief along with the fact that their franchise is FUCKED for like the next 3 or 4 years is...oh man. It's positively tantric.
No first or second round picks for the next couple of years, screwed with the cap, they're going to be bottom feeders for a good long while.

So many mule toolers and stooges around the league were CONVINCED Denver had fleeced Seattle. Some of us here knew otherwise.....
There was a lot of celebration when he got the contract too. Talk of multiple SBs, being in contention for many years, turning the tables on KC, etc. :-) [Reply]

It just sucks here. They don't show them here. Either the Chiefs are on at the same time or CBS just plain doesn't show them. We are NFCN territory, so it's usually the vikings or one of the three other NFCN teams on fox. Then the usual Dallas or the 9ers getting shoved down our throat. Anxiously awaiting weeks 14 & 17 though. [Reply]
He's also gone back and clarified several times now that it's only been a 'few' times. Still laughable for an NFL QB but the op tweet is blowing it a bit out of proportion. [Reply]
Oh man, this shit gets better every day. The Chargers are still broke dicks and will have to pay Herbert soon, the faid are stuck with McDumbass and the :-) are stuck with a qb who doesn't know what city he's in. Oh, and the Chiefs have the best QB on the planet, a top 2 HC and a fucking wizard as GM.

Once, twice or whatever. You should expect more from a guy you just handed a quarter of a billion dollars to [Reply]

Mecklenberg I don’t think ever played with Terrell Davis. Mecklenberg never won a Super Bowl if my memory serves me. [Reply]
