KC to Omaha is a 3 hour trip.
I wonder if it had seating out is just a giant floor. Hoping its just a floor.
The concert me and my buddy want to go to isn't coming to kc this time around, which is funny because its kc based artists. The closest its getting is Salina Kansas, on March 18. And then Omaha on April 20, which happens to be a pot smoking holiday and that appeals to my friend.
The Salina date was a no brainer for me even though id have to go to work hung over because I assumed that it was only like an hour or so away. then we go to buy the tickets and the lady at Ticketmaster told me it's about a 2 and a half hour drive. Well, fuck, I've heard Omaha is about that. its far enough away I can request days off.
So now thinking about making a two day stay out of it. I haven't booked a hotel yet, but looking at some. the storm chasers play the night before at 630, and I think we're going to make it up there in time to go to that. but that leaves the next day pretty much open until the concert in the evening.
Anything else interesting I could do on a Saturday in Omaha?

I don't recall what there was for seating, there can't be much if there's any at all.
If the weather is nice you could go hang out at the Old Market downtown, it's not too far away from Sokol. And the Storm Chasers play way the hell out in bumfuck Sarpy County now.
