The flood footage from Spencer Iowa is crazy.
They are going to have a long and difficult recovery.
We are holding steady here at the Cedar River in NE Iowa and they have dropped the river forecast.
We probably over prepared...but with full watersheds anything (like Spencer) can happen. [Reply]

A decade-ish or so ago we had a family thing down at the Lake of the Ozarks around the 4th. Woke up one morning to temps in the mid to upper 50's, and it was pretty damned refreshing. Can't lie. [Reply]
