They have a rookie QB that obviously could use exactly what you're saying JJSS is, especially since most of their WRs besides JJSS are rooks/new guys.

It's football 101. Young inexperienced QB. Teams surround such QBs with sure-handed solid route running WRs/TEs to give the kid a security blanket. As CAR did with Adam Thielen last season. What DHop has been to every QB he's played with. Etc. and so on.

If NE was that willing to release JuJu, it stands to reason something's not right with him. Otherwise, they'd probably keep him, because he'd be a lot more valuable to NE in the role you're suggesting than he would be to us.

Basic logic.
Because NE isn't trying to win this year. They want the spots to go to young guys who can develop.

He might go back to Pittsburgh... Or, probably to the team that pays him the most. He has his ring. BUT, IF he'd play for what the Chiefs would offer him, Id sure bring him back.

Sure. Except if JuJu is still as healthy as he was last year, and NE is already down their two projected starting WRs, and you’re trying to develop your brand-new rookie QB, you’d need a savvy veteran reliable sure-handed possession WR to help that development process along, right? And they had JuJu right there in-house, perfect for the role you’re advocating. And cheap.

Given the situation NE is in with their rookie HC, rookie QB and young/inexperienced WR corps, a guy like JuJu should be worth his weight in gold, correct?

But they just released him.

Something smells. And it’s probably, likely, that it’s JuJu’s knees.

The Brown news should make bringing Juju back an even easier decision. If Worthy has rookie growing pains we'll be back to the same thing of relying on Rice too much..

So what do we lose? Maybe a mil or so in cap if it doesn’t work out?

Oh no!!!!

Plus you never know if Rice is going to end up suspended.

Last night definitively pushed me over threshold; sign JuJu. I don’t want Skyy Moore or Kadarius Toney seeing a single snap week one. Can’t happen, get him in here.

Its a little different because juju isn't Wr1/2. He's a role playing vet and that's a waste of a roster spot for a young guy. For the same reason we kept Ross around. Let's be real, even a healthy juju isn't gonna get much time with Polk, Bourne, pop Douglass or Osborn.

But I guess Watson, Moore, Toney and Remigio are all way too important to drop for a proven vet.
The guy's fucking cooked, man.

I don't know what to tell you.

His last game for NE he got 90 plus yards. So your notion is simply not reality.

The reality: he had 11yds, 10yds, and 9yds in the 3 games previous to that. And the team that had already been on the hook for 7mm and knows him and his health better than anyone else cut him.

Sounds promising.

Most thought he would never have much success in NE. Their fanbase was already upset that the Patriots did not even try to resign Meyers. So the expectations which were set high were likely never to be met considering that the garbage combination of Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe running a garbage scheme. His past success and knowledge in Andy's offense is a no brainer at just under a million.

With Hollywood out now, it’s a double no brainer.

Get him in here.
