No defense in NFL history has allowed less than 9 yards per completion over the course of a season.
The 2022 Broncos, through 8 games, are allowing just 8.5 yards per completion. Denver is a long shot to make the playoffs but they have an absolutely dominant pass defense.

And yet KC is 6-2 while playing one of the toughest if not toughest 8 game stretch in the league. And yet KC has the #1 offense and Mahomes is leading the MVP race. All of this done against some of the best defenses in the league.
The Broncos on the other hand have a losing record and two of their wins are against bottom feeder teams and even then they couldn’t blow them out. As such you have to celebrate a 1 game win streak due to uniform color scheme. Your team is the running joke of the league and your QB is the butt of jokes by everyone including players on other teams. [Reply]
