Actually a lot of Pat's game reminds me of Elway.

The fact that Elway was top 5 in certain stats when he retired is just as meaningless as comparing stats from different eras. If a QB played even one more season than the next guy, that's a huge advantage. Plus, if you can't compare his numbers to guys who played 5 years after he left the league, then obviously you can't compare him to guys who played decades before either. [Reply]
