Whether you admit it or not, my take makes a lot more sense than what you're arguing. You're basically saying that everybody knew these guys were shit and Elway signed them anyway. And paid Keenum a few million less than Rodgers was making at the time. You're also saying that it was known that Wilson wasn't a great option, yet the trade and contract are those you'd offer a freaking MVP caliber QB. I mean.....come on.
The consensus here wasn't that Wilson was "done," it was that his athleticism was declining and he wasn't elite. Not that he'd lead them to the lowest-ranked offense in the NFL.
Is it not fair to say that Denver got less than expected from EVERY single one of these guys, including Lock?
Fair? On a Chiefs board? Fuck Denver and this fair bullshit. It wasn't fair we had to endure playoff loss after loss for 50 fucking years and the long list of total bums we have had either. Fuck fair. [Reply]

LOL...Mahomes is your first. And while we didn't "draft" Elway...he played every game here. [Reply]

Difference is that's the first time the Chiefs even attempted to draft a star QB since the early 80s. 1 for 1, and he might go down as the best to ever do it before it's said and done.

Before this season, Geno definitely would have been viewed as one of the poorer options available. Here's an FA QB ranking from before the season, and Geno is listed below Roethlisberger, Winston, Bridgewater, Mariota, Trubisky, Brissett, and Fitzpatrick:

Nah, I'm pretty sure he popped his knee back in place and tried to go back into the game. But it was just Denver so they held him out and won 30-6 anyway. [Reply]
