There is no team or player that has been the butt of more jokes this year than Denver/Wilson.
Q Joe: There’s 9 games left!! Russ isn’t stuck in this division with you…you’re stuck with him!!
15 ppg and a 3-5 record vs the weakest schedule in the league, fortunate to win all three, and a bunch of starters now out with injury. If ever a team were primed for a turnaround, this is the one! :-) [Reply]
Broncos DL Dre’Mont Jones has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week after registering seven tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack in Sunday’s 21-17 win over Jacksonville.
Jones has 5.5 sacks this season and needs just 1.5 more to set a new career best.

I'm a Hawkeye fan and you lose all credibility putting Jose Jewell equal to Willie Gay... :-) [Reply]

I haven't given that the old college try, but not sure why one would even attempt it at this point. [Reply]
Donkos are on a bye this week, here's there remaining schedule after the bye:
@ Titans
Raiders at home
@ Panthers
@ Ravens
Chiefs at home
Cardinals at home
@ Rams
@ Chiefs
Chargers at home
That's their schedule. I mean, if you squint real hard you can maybe see 4 wins? And that's probably best case scenario. They're not winning any roads games sans maybe the Panthers game. So that leaves the Raiders and Chiefs at home (2 teams they haven't won against in forever) and the Chargers and Cardinals. If I wanna be super generous and unrealistic, then i give them 3 out of those 4 as wins (not likely to happen, and not beating the Chiefs with a worse offense this year than previous years).
So that's 4 wins in the last 9 and a final record of 7-10, another double digit losing season. And that's being optimistic for them.
Sorry, just wanted to lay it all out there to be seen since KnowMo seemed to be getting a little overly excited after their big win over the Jaguars thinking they could maybe make a second half run . . . . . . . . they can't.
Time to put that baby to bed, once and for all. [Reply]

Please don't encourage SlowMo. You know damn well he can find something to reinforce his delusions. [Reply]

Pretty awesome. All that talent on defense has netted Denver .3 sacks per game more than KC so far this season and that was before you lost Chubb. [Reply]

Like I said, it's a common narrative among Denver boards (and obviously Q Joe) that Denver's roster is much better than KC's, and some have claimed it's top 5ish. Just wondering if there's even one single objective article out there that comes to the same conclusion. But I think I know the answer to that.
This nonsense all started when PFF ranked rosters about 3 years ago (without factoring in QBs) and they ranked Denver 6th. And yet, the same site had Denver's roster ranked 14th before this season WITH Wilson included. And it's hard to imagine it wouldn't be lower if they were to rank right now. [Reply]
