George Paton didn’t have a pick until No. 64. Yet in the last 3 games, his 2022 draft has yielded a TE averaging 60 receiving YPG, an edge rusher with 1.5 sacks, a starting CB2, a good rotational D-lineman with 1 sack, & the first-team PR/KR.
This has to be one of the funniest hype tweets I've ever read.
Using a 3 game sample size as proof that a GM knows what they're doing is delusional.
A TE that missed 5 weeks and had 95 yards total before this week is a HUGE hit in the draft!
A 2nd round pass rusher that has 6 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 3 QB pressures in 120+ snaps just screams future HOFer!
A D-Lineman with 1 whole sack and 1 whole pressure in 8 games is God like!
A KR/PR, I don't even have to post any stats, because everyone knows only an Alpha GM can find a 1st team return specialist!
Just look at how studly that group is and tell me that your not shitting yourselves knowing we have to face those rookies that are coming off a historic 3 game stretch and Mr. Unlimited himself.
Chef Russ cooking up a juggernaut offense that's 32nd in the league in PPG.
What a team.
What a GM.
You know that old football saying, "mediocre 3 game stretches by rookies wins championships." Denver is now the team to beat in the west! [Reply]

If he is just trolling for his jollies, that makes us a sucker and feeding his ego in manipulating us. Again, irrelevant.
I see the humor value in both cases. But quit feeding the troll and his need for attention. Unless you like to bear bait.
To each his own.
I don’t see the problem with having fun with it. This is one of the most entertaining threads on this board. Now the people who get pissed at his posts (like the guy who started a thread about him the other day)? Ridiculous. [Reply]

:-) Nah. I think he legit was excited about Russell when the season started but even he knows that's pretty much dead. It's why he won't touch it even in a trolling manner. [Reply]

He's posted 3 or 4 tweets defending Russ in the last couple of days... [Reply]

Yep, all of his posts are about the D because even he knows there is no defending the shit show that is the WalRuss led O [Reply]

Unfortunately for Denver fans they're almost forced into that mentality, especially given how awful Hackett is as a coach. Even I can acknowledge Wilson isn't going to be this sustainably terrible. Probable ceiling is game manager at best, though. [Reply]
