After her arrest on November 29, police told the paper that Daughdrill would pick her victim up from school without his parents' knowledge and subject him to sexual encounters. Louisiana cops also reportedly found sexually explicit texts between Daughdrill and her victim.

Not saying that it's okay or that school teachers should be looking at the classroom as a dating pool; just that young people are full of hormones and sex one of our strongest drives.
We are, after all, only human.
It's all interconnected or comorbid. That's why I think it's ridiculous to kind of break it down into the pieces. The fact is they made a decision. A decision that they know clearly violates their standing in the community and their livelihood or at least terms of employment. That decision has consequences. [Reply]

C'mon, it's mainly about the sex. Women love the younger gus.
When we are talking about 13-15 year old boys or younger, it's an illness in the women. That's just sick.
Well a lot of things are getting mixed together here.
A 24 year old having sex with a 17 old would, in itself be legal in some jurisdictions and it is only the teacher/student aspect that makes it illegal. And I would think a 24 year with a 17 year old is thinking more about sex than power. But I guess who knows?
Of course, in some jurisdictions a 17 year old is a fully formed adult as far as sexual decisions are concerned but if they travel across a legal boundary they become a child completely incapable of any legal agency with regards to sex.
By the way, I agree with age of consent laws, but they have a certain arbitrariness to them.
But in any event, jumping from 17 to suddenly 13 to 15 or younger, yeah that's a different category. [Reply]

Everything’s always relative to the times we live in. Back in the day young girls were married off to older men, or even sold. [Reply]

I get what you saying...but that is in less educated times that I hope we have moved away from.
But seriously....a 45 y/o woman with a 17 y/o boy.?? Not really any way to rationalize that. [Reply]
I dated women 13-15 years older when I was in my late teens, early twenties. Started going to bars and nightclubs at 17. I've been with older women with even larger age differentials. Always had a thing for older women. Not anymore at 61. My age or slightly younger.
I think there is a big difference between 13-14 year old boys or younger and 17-18 year olds or older with older women. [Reply]

These women aren't pedos, a pedo likes pre pubescent kids. [Reply]

In her defense, the fresh-fucked face isn’t typically an Olan Mills photo. [Reply]
