Eric Fisher struggled mightily in his first season at Left Tackle and Mike McGlynn was a fucking abortion. 6th rounder Zach Fulton was forced to play right guard. Donald Stephenson was fucking lazy and shitty at right tackle.
In 2015, the Chiefs lost their best offensive lineman, Rodney Hudson, to the Raiders and replaced him with rookie Mitch Morse, who himself missed many games due to concussions. The Chiefs had a makeshift line all season long, with Fulton, Jah Reid and Donald Stephenson playing Left Guard, Reid and Fulton at Right Guard, Reid at Right Tackle and Fulton at Center.
Despite all of the line shuffling and sacks, Alex Smith had his best season as an NFL QB. [Reply]

He was complete and utter crap at the time. He couldn't read defenses, turned over the ball way too many times and was a shitty leader.
Mellinger even confirmed last year that there's no way that Andy Reid or John Dorsey would have drafted him or signed him in free agency.
