I think they're beyond fucked. They're definitely stuck with Russ for the next two or three years. No realistic way to cut him before then.
But if you fire Paton and Hackett, just who would be stupid enough to take those jobs the way things sit?
Can't do anything about the QB.
Can't improve the roster through the draft for the foreseeable future.
Reduced to selling off all their quality players for picks/cap relief.
Who's going to take those jobs with those boat anchors around their necks?
If this were a regular business, the owner would seriously consider scheduling a "mysterious fire," that burns the whole thing to the ground. Collect the insurance and start over somewhere else. [Reply]
