Not even close.

We can slap him on the other teams' best receiver and not have to worry about them at all. He held Chase to 1 catch for 3 yards, two weeks later Chase went off for 200 yards and 3 TD's against KC.
Surtain also allows us to help elsewhere because we don't have to worry about his side of the field. A player like him improves every part of our D. [Reply]

And you will still lose by 10+ points every single week. [Reply]
You're right. Taking away the opposing teams' best offensive weapon has no value at all. Being able to move coverage towards your weaker corners because you have a guy who needs no help at all doesn't help a defense either. Good talk. [Reply]

You've played the sister's of the poor. Denver is the worst team in football right now. You should be 0-7 but Mills and Garropollo missed open guys all game. [Reply]
Denver chose:
2016: Lynch
2017: NOT to move up for Mahomes
2018: Chubb over Allen
2019: Lock
2020: Juedy and Hamler over Hurts
2021: Surtain over Fields, Jones, Mills
2022: Wilson over Pickett
Not even suggesting they were "wrong" each time, but it does suggest a true lack of any sort of understanding of QB play in the NFL. Honestly, if I didn't know any better, I'd think Carl was secretly running Denver's FO. [Reply]
