Who knows, it could all be noise to push SF a bit to pay the $4M that would move Kaep. Taylor does have history with Kubiak, so who knows? Taylor threw for 3,000 yards and the same number of TDs as both Peyton and Brock in 2015 with only 6 INTs... so, he's got that going for him. Tyrod Tayor is nothing special.

In fact, Kaepernick might even be the better option.

Taylor was still in his initial starting period where teams don't have a lot of tape on him...that's not the case, going forward.

The fact Elway is inquiring about him shows how desperate he is after doing work on this college group of QBs and available free agents and not seeing a whole lot he likes.
