I do agree with Fishbourne being perfect for mace, but I do think they should dive into the "purple" saber/force angle as like a b or c story.
Episode VII, Rogue One, Episode VIII... 2015, 2016, 2017 and did I hear about a Han Solo movie coming out in 2018? I don't know at what point they are going to over saturate the market, but so far, I can't seem to get enough of it.
After seeing Rogue One, I think that I may have figured out the identity of Rey's mother. I'll post as spoilers in all three Star Wars threads, even though these are "Spoiler" threads.
Spoiler!
I have speculated (as have others) that Rey is a Kenobi but now, I believe she's a Kenobi AND a Skywalker.
Chopper is seen on the Yavin 4 base and the Ghost is seen on the attack at Scarif. This most certainly means that the crew of the Ghost is on Yavin 4 and "General Syndulla" was clearly heard on the loudspeaker. While a case could be made that it's Cham Syndulla, I believe it was Hera.
In last week's Star Wars Rebels, it was revealed that Darth Maul kept the Darksaber, the weapon he used to kill Duchess Satine of Mandalore. Even though Sabine Wren had been ordered to stay out of the cave, she entered and was strangely drawn to the remanants of the Darksaber, which she picked up and took for her own.
As mentioned previously, I've speculated (and actually am convinced) that Obi Wan Kenobi and Duchess Satine of Mandalore had an affair, which resulted in the birth of a child.
This child, in my belief, is Sabine Wren.
Since the crew of the Ghost were all present on Yavin 4, Sabine Wren would have been there, too. As we all know, Luke Skywalker was on Yavin 4 and destroyed the Death Star. It's likely that Luke and Sabine met and at some point in time, hooked up, which resulted in their child, Rey.
This would make sense as to why Rey heard Obi Wan's voice repeatedly, as well as seeing visions of Luke, Vader and Ach-Two.

Spoiler!
They could do it through exposition, a flashback or a "Force Back".
Maybe Kylo Ren says something to the effect of "Just because you're the offspring of two Jedi Masters and Mandalorians doesn't make you more powerful than me".
Hell, maybe Sabine Wren is the Mandalorian seen in the Force Back scene showing the Knights of Ren! Wouldn't that be a twist?
And if it's true (and it's just speculation), it would also create a new audience for The Clone Wars Series and Star Wars Rebels.
I think you're off the mark on that one. She's house Viszla, not house Kryze. And every indication is that her mother was (and still is, she's referenced in the series as alive) a member of Death Watch. Sabine was considered a traitor when she left the academy, and the hit clan Wren took from that led to her mother joining the Empire. If I'm remembering correctly. I'm sure we'll meet the mother at some point, probably sooner rather than later.
My guess is that her mother is Bo-Katan, Satine's sister, who was Pre Vizla's second, present in the throne room when Maul killed them both. Katee Sackoff voiced her in Clone Wars and is supposedly voicing her again in the latter half of this season on Rebels. It would certainly explain a lot about Sabine, including her connection to the Nite Owls.
FYI Filoni has said Sabine's mother was present in the throne room and that she's not a Kryzse, although my interpretation of that was that he only meant Satine. Because while they were sisters, they were political opponents. [Reply]

Prior to finding out that Leia was his sister, Luke was all about hooking up with the Princess. Having an affair with Sabine doesn't seem likely. [Reply]

The only issue with this is that it's waaaay too complicated.
Spoiler!
Sabine is a major character on a popular Star Wars series that's in its 3rd season, with more to go.
Maul kills Satine, with whom Obi Wan is very "close". Sabine finds the Darksaber, which was the weapon used to kill Satine and keeps it. Why?
Obi Wan+Satine=Sabine.
Sabine and Luke are part of the Rebel Alliance. Sabine+Luke=Rey.
If Luke is her father, Sabine makes the most sense. Otherwise, her parents are Han & Leia, which seems like a stretch considering the age difference but I suppose anything is possible in Star Wars, although Han and Leia look like Rey's grandparents, not parents.

A far less skilled Luke fell one hell of a distance (in Empire soon after losing his hand to Vader) and was somehow just fine. :-) [Reply]

I like the idea that Sabine is Obi Wan and Dutchess Satine's daughter, but why Luke as the father and not Ezra? I'd love to take a step back from the Skywalker fam if possible.
