I mean, the Rams kind of worked for a year, although I think the Chiefs would have worked them in the SB last year. It's yet to be seen if it's actually working this season.

For an undrafted corner? I don't know, man, that seems like a pretty big gamble.

Yep. All in for short term success, that hasn't paid off in the long term so far. Obviously they made the right call winning a superbowl though, even if they fail from here.

I'm not arguing in favor of their specific moves, more you can see why going all in was a fair decision. But so far it hasn't worked out.

How could it have POSSIBLY been a worse decision?
How would Geno Smith (34 TDs vs 37 INTs in his career), viewed from a March 2022 lens, have been any better than just keeping Teddy Bridgewater (71 TDs vs 43 INTs)? It would have been seen as an obvious step down from a QB who already wasn’t good enough.

A bit of research would have shown Russ was cooked, but Denver wanted a "name" player

I was looking at the standings this morning. The pathetic Donks have produced 100 points in 7 games, compared to the Chiefs, who have produced 223. More than double. :-). The Chiefs have out produced their season total in the last 3 games, going against the very best defenses in the NFL.

It's really pretty amazing to me that they can be as consistent as they are on their inability to score or really have any impressive plays. I have watched a lot of bad football games since the 1970s, but this team... man, the games look like a repeat reel with the same 3-4 plays. Just over and over and over. It's crazy.

And, now that shitshow is going to represent the NFL in London... that's just awesome.

Donk Fans, I'm having UNLIMITED amounts of amusement at the futility of your team. Most of you (MHM excluded) have had an UNLIMITED amount of pompous attitude in the past. Your fanbase has an UNLIMITED amount of entitlement after the league gifted you SB's in 1997 and 1998 with UNLIMITED cheating, and in 2015 with UNLIMITED phantom calls and illegal pick plays. Now, for an UNLIMITED time, you have MR. UNLIMITED to lead you into purgatory for another 4 years. It couldn't have happened to a better franchise and fanbase. I wonder if you will still have a fanbase in four years. Your children will grow up watching a classy franchise beat yours up for a decade. Man this feels good. To the disappearing acts of Dom Casual, Knowmo, and Kramsrectum, Adios. :-)

Maybe they wont want it back and your team is just taking one for the rest of the league. You will still suck ass for the next 5 years but at least the rest of the league will be thankful they dont have to fly to London any more.

The fanbase isn't going anywhere long-term... the diehards will fight through the pain, like most fans do. I'm waiting for the new ownership group to say they've had enough and they start making changes. The franchise is in this situation mostly because of the void the ownership situation left them in for the last several years. It's time for the new owners to make changes, put their stamp on the team and chart a new course.

Seems just like yesterday...that the Donks were the 2022 off-season pride of the AFC. ..now they have they 32nd ranked offense.

How the mighty have fallen...real shame.

This is my favorite post-Manning season to date....they actually had real hope this year. The hype was over the top....nearly everything I pointed out has happened...including having to start an inexperienced QB.

What happened to that 4th ranked OL and elite offensive skill talent few QBs have ever experienced?

*checks calendar...almost November....yep, right on schedule.

$250 million + 2 drafts + 3 players to become even worse...that's a work of art.

On the bright side...they only have to go 8-2 to reach that 10 win prediction...right, MHM?

You're stuck with Wilson, prepare for it.

I don’t think the point was that it would have been a popular move. Just a better one.

Wilson was perceived to be a great move by many. Look where it got them.

If the Rams played KC or Buffalo last year I am highly confident they would not have won the SB.
