I, for one, will refute this blasphemous post.
The Donkos, under the ever watchful eye of General Paton, with the marvelous consulting help from (once former outstanding GM) John Elway, and the unlimited resources of the Walton ownership group, have hired a top notch group of coaches and administrators to couple with a top 5 roster. This level of coaching talent, combined with the deft maneuvering to acquire one Russell Wilson, has put Denver back on the football map!
I hope this collective group stays together and rules Donko football for a long, long, long, long time!***
***we know Russ will be there for "a little bit"..... [Reply]

I don't think anyone expects he'll sustain his current level of shittiness, but it is certainly much greater than a 90/10 split regarding who's to blame. Hackett actually does have players in position to make plays, Russ just fails at execution. [Reply]

I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I agree with you. Wilson has a very "unique" skill set. You can replace "unique" with another word if you like, I suspect "limited" may be a popular one here. An NFL coach would be able to put Wilson in situations where he could have a reasonable chance at succeeding, like moving pockets, rollouts, or bootlegs. An idiot would pretend that Wilson is the same person as Manning and Brady and have him drop straight back every time. So far we've only seen the idiot. [Reply]
Well, he's already pulled his hammy playing this limited style. As dumb as Hackett undoubtedly is, maybe there's a reason he doesn't have Wilson moving around all over? [Reply]
Broncos QB Russell Wilson will officially be listed as limited on practice participation report with hamstring injury. He was visibly impacted as he threw the ball during the open/viewing period...would expect Brett Rypien to get plenty of snaps in remainder of practice.

There have been plenty of breakdowns of individual plays, even by Broncos fans, showing that he’s just not executing. He’s won 8 of his last 21 and looked awful in his last playoff game two years ago, so it’s not like this started this season. But you also have to consider that his WRs are a pretty big downgrade. Look at what Geno’s doing with his old receivers.
Of course a better coach could get more out of him, like anyone. But he has officially transformed into Mr Limited. [Reply]

At a minimum, it is hard to evaluate exactly where Wilson is unless and until he is provided with competent play calling. [Reply]
