The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

My reasoning on Baltimore is that they know how to attack the Buffalo defense and have the personnel to do it.
They just unloaded the book on them. Power inside, counters. Screens and misdirections. Throws into the middle of the field.
Baltimore's OL will plow away at Buffalo's small DL and linebackers with Henry.
We (Andy) knows all this too but did almost none of it in our game this year.
Baltimore also has the horses on D to play physical with what Buffalo wants to do on offense which is run the ball and dink and dunk.
It's a bad matchup scheme wise for Buffalo against Baltimore on both sides of the ball.
Buffalo dink and dunk matches up against Spags but ultimately I trust Spags to get a few stops here and there (he know Allen's processing issues) and our offense matches up against their D well too. [Reply]

Well, those issues with inaccuracy will only be exacerbated in BUF in JAN. if they get one of those 20 mph winds with 30 mph gusts that BUF is so famous for. [Reply]

Agreed. Lamar has already struggled in a Playoff game at Buffalo. So it would probably look similar to the first time around. This 2021 Playoff game would have been 10-10 if not for a 100-yard Pick 6 by Lamar. Instead Buffalo won it 17-3. Very Jameis Winston type of moment for Lamar.
The Ravens defense has started to get better in recent weeks and it's proven that the Bills can't handle Henry. I think the Bills could struggle big time with both the Steelers and Ravens tbh. [Reply]

Steelers gave Buffalo a tough Playoff game last year, despite having a worse QB situation at the time. There was a George Pickens fumble deep in Pittsburgh territory that led to a Buffalo TD. And a Mason Rudolph interception in the Buffalo end zone. 14-point swing on these two plays, which helps explain the 31-17 final score. It was a more competitive game than the score indicates. Russell Wilson would give Buffalo a tougher matchup than Mason Rudolph did. [Reply]

We'll see, but Lamar historically is trash in the playoffs, while Josh has been much better statistically. I don't trust Lamar at all with the ball in his hands at the end of a game if he has to drop back and pass, and almost complete trust in Josh in the same situation. [Reply]

i think overall that buffalo is a better team than the ravens, but the ravens are a horrible matchup for buffalo. the bills defense isn't good enough to contain the ravens, IMO. Their DL ain't Pittsburgh's, it ain't Philly's, it ain't even Cleveland's. there's a reason the ravens struggled against these teams while absolutely shitting on buffalo [Reply]

If the NFL started again...they wouldn't even have a team. It's amazing the franchise hasn't been sold then moved decades ago.
Kinda thought you were talking about Philadelphia for a minute. [Reply]

Yeah, if it was a dome. These mouthbreathers don't believe they need a dome. They'll just hold the NFL hostage the NEXT time they need their game postponed are even moved. [Reply]

Styles make fights.
Baltimore - and any other run heavy team - can give the Bills problems.
I mean, if they end up as the 2 and the Chargers are the 7, I could see Buffalo getting knocked out there. You can probably count on Minter having something crazy to throw at Allen, and the Chargers’ offensive identity would be a tough match for Buffalo. Even if Dobbins isn’t healthy. [Reply]
