Did this happen because she was simply overrated, or, like many fighters who achieve mainstream success, did her's cause her to lose focus on her training? Something else?

Did you see the weigh-in video? She was completely unhinged. I think the pressure finally got to her and her face became a punching bag tonight. [Reply]
It seems like the tide on here turned against Rousey pretty significantly lately. I don't know if that is due to oversaturation or something else.
I do kind of feel bad for her though, because she had bankable crossover appeal that was tied to her invincibility. This fight probably ruins all of that, as in her earning potential is now completely gone. [Reply]

Hard to say. Holm looked bad her previous fight against a turd which is why she was such a huge underdog. [Reply]

Honestly it's hard to say. Rousey's strategy was really bad considering her opponent. She should have pressed the ground game from go. I think she was too cocky.
Does that make her overrated? I don't know. I think she's benefitted from lack of competition. I also believe that fight could have looked totally different with a different approach. [Reply]

Rousey is not a good fighter. She has a silver bullet against pure strikers though, but tonight she didn't go to it, so since she is fundamentally a bad fighter outside of her tricks, she lost. [Reply]

1. She was the hottest piece of ass to have that skill to ever come around and may very well may ever be and Dana White matched her to milk the cash cow 2. She's getting into acting and losing the taste for blood [Reply]

I think alot of it had to do with her being so gassed and the one time she was in position for the hip toss Holly defended it very well. [Reply]

LOL I actually read a theory on Twitter that proposed she was sandbagging this entire time because she knew she'd fight Ronda eventually and wanted Ronda to take her lightly.
Sounds insane I know but....yeah insane. :-) [Reply]
hah, earlier this week when I saw that Joanna was a heavier favorite than Rousey, I assumed maybe the gamblers thought Rousey might arrogantly come out trying to out-kickbox Holm just to prove she's a complete fighter for stupid pride. Thats exactly what happened, and Holm got the head kick KO. I guess the gamblers are smart. [Reply]

She was totally gassed so maybe she wasn't expecting this fight to go long. Whatever it was she got her ass kicked from start to finish. [Reply]
