Russ and Hackett sucked even when Bolles and Javonte were healthy.
And I don’t want to hear shit about this. We told you Darby was always injured. He’s played a full season once in 8 years.
And Randy Gregory is Dee Ford. He’s literally Dee Ford. This man always misses time every goddamn year. He has never played a full season in his career.
We told you Gregory is a 29 year old broke dick that had shoulder and knee surgeries in back-to-back year but your stupid GM still handed him $14 million a season and you hand waived that shit.
So essentially Paton wants Payton, but would probably settle for Peyton. Neither Payton nor Peyton will coach under Paton because he might not have another season. Maybe after Paton is canned the Broncos could possibly make a run at Payton or Peyton although neither will make a difference because Russ is awful and broken. [Reply]

Payton made just under $10M annually with the Saints.
That's about what Kyle Shanahan makes now and is top 5, looks like only 3 coaches over the $11M bar - Carroll, Big Bill and McVay.
I don't care what the $ is, it doesn't count against the cap, go give Payton a 5 year $80M contract and let's party.
Well, I really like the party you guys have going on now. From my view, it's a hoot! :-) [Reply]
I think you have to fire Hackett. Because you're stuck with Wilson for at least the next, 5 years? Question I guess is when, though I can't imagine he survives another week if they don't look a lot better next week. But his game management decisions are horrific in the two games I've seen parts of, and combined with Wilson's current level of play, i don't think the fanbase or ownership will accept that.
Though it might be all moot, as DEN is stuck with Russ for years to come and without a pile of draft picks. They just became the Jets of the AFC. Good times. [Reply]
Broncos take it in the pooper. Again.

This time it's different. Safely tucked in with Brian Griese love pillow held tight. Falls asleep.
Notice no mention at all of shower?
Repeat each day until Broncos take it in the proper. Again. [Reply]
Oh, and SP is never going to DEN. He spent the majority of his career struggling with the salary cap; if he goes anywhere, it'll be to a team that not only has a ton of cap space, but also with a young and talented roster. he wants to teach because he's a great teacher, and he wants to cook. Neither of those things would be available in DEN. [Reply]

Dude, Payton isn’t coming out of retirement for that dumpster fire team. The quarterback sucks, the OL sucks, the receivers suck, the GM sucks. He could have stayed in NO if he wanted to deal with that, although he would have had better weapons had he stayed in NO. Payton is a dream scenario. Why would he come out to be part of a long rebuild, that is hamstrung to a declining quarterback for the next 5 years? [Reply]
