No 1st or 2nd this year, none next year. Huge QB contract they can’t get out of until 2025, not an overly talented roster, and cap issues once Wilson’s contract accelerates (right around the time those traded picks really start hurting you).
Payton isn’t going to walk into that much uncertainty. No established coach is going to.
I am switching from sparklight cable to dish network due to sparklight going totally streaming. I'm not set up for that currently and just decided to go with dish for now.
Anyway, I have to take my old equipment back to sparklight and cancel my service. I asked a bronco friend of mine who is staying with sparklight if he wanted to borrow my dvr before I take it back so he could re-watch my recording of Superbowl LIV.

Don't say I didn't warn you, donk fans. I've been telling you for weeks exactly what Kyle Brandt just said. WalRuss is the most inauthentic, self-absorbed poser I've ever seen. The analogy between WalRuss and Ciara and Jay Z and Beyoncé is spot-freaking-on. WalRuss is so incredibly full of himself it's nauseating. I told you this from the beginning. And like it or not, you are absolutely married to that clown act for at least 4 seasons. And your turnaround doesn't start when you finally get out from under that horrific contract. You think you're going to be decent the year after he leaves? No. That's just when your 3 to 5 year rebuild starts.
"General" Paton set your franchise back for close to a decade. Paton is a fraud. Your franchise has zero leadership, zero clue, and you have absolutely no hope for years. Broncos brass panicked. And you know why they panicked? Because of the guy below. Because of Patrick Lavon Mahomes II. Which for us Chiefs fans - who you threw dirt on for years and years - is FREAKING GLORIOUS.
Enjoy the suck. Embrace the suck. Because that's what your team is now, and will be for the foreseeable future.
