The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Will be a much tougher test than last night was that’s for certain.
I don't know. The Rams had real trouble moving the ball in the first half, especially in the running game. They're going to have to run the ball to beat the Bills, that's their weakness [Reply]

Of all the ways they could lose in the playoffs, by far the worst would be losing to the Chiefs.
They should be happy they got the win and hope they don’t have to do it again. Especially given before the game the cope there was that a loss would actually not be bad because beating a team twice is hard. But they seem to be of the mindset that if they win in the playoffs it somehow invalidates all of the Chiefs accomplishments and immediately makes them the next dynasty.
To be the man you have to beat the man. KC is the playoff hurdle they have yet to overcome (not counting the one Cincinnati loss). Until they do that they are always going to have KC in the back of their mind. [Reply]

I certainly won’t be picking or expecting LA to win, but IDK that they won’t give Buffalo a bit of a scare with Detroit lingering out in front of them next week. [Reply]

Could totally see Brady going to Cincinnati if/when they fire Zac Taylor. Brady was at LSU with Burrow and Chase
Problem there is assuming Cincy fires Taylor.
Unless Burrow demands it, it’s not happening. He’s under contract until 2026. [Reply]

Gotta think Chicago will be all over them. [Reply]

I would love Cincinnati to hire dink and dunk Brady. [Reply]

It’s a style-makes-fights thing for me (credit to DJ for his contribution to Planet vernacular).
The Rams’ offense is situated well to give the Bills nickel base D some problems. The best way to attack it is with heavy, “over” fronts, and that is tough to do out of a nickel with a pair of 225 pound LBs out there.
Stafford is an experienced QB who is effective against zone and isn’t going to give the Rams cheap TOs.
Plus, like I was saying, I think you have some travel-related and look-ahead-related factors as well. [Reply]

I get what you're saying. I just don't think it's going to matter. The Bills will probably steamroll them. [Reply]
The media is anointing Josh Allen today. You're going to see that pitch-back TD on hilight reels for a while. Part of that blowout was luck, the 49ers kept fumbling the ball away.
But Allen has been playing like playoff Mahomes, taking big risks and putting the team on his back like that 4th and 2 TD run against us. I imagine we'll see that kind of play from him throughout the rest of the season and obviously into the playoffs.
They look like they're having the most fun. I hope our guys can light it up and turn it on soon. [Reply]
im ngl, the bills are scary this year. manning eventually beat brady. i’m holding out hope that’ll we’ll crush their hearts again but if the Bills are EVER gonna beat us, this is probably the year.
but then again they lost 4 super bowls in a row so why not go for it and lose 4 inna row to mahomes. it’d fit their legacy more! [Reply]
