Mahomes excels in chaos. He's no robot. Mahomes can attack a defense at any level at all times of the game. Doesn't run from clean pocket, in fact he doesn't even run when he has defenders in his face.
Who cares if he threw short passes? Alex missing on short throws is part of the reason we went 1-6. Distance doesn't matter...finding the open receiver, no matter the pressure or defensive scheme, is important. That what I like about Mahomes. He finds the open receivers and doesn't run from a clean pocket
Pat played a good game. There's no denying that, but pugs saying that Mahomes raised Wilson's level of play like he's been held back by Alex all season is ridiculous. [Reply]

True. Wilson was schooling a backup cornerback. Absolutely owning him.
Wilson had a nice catch against Chris Harris (the 3rd and long play where Mahomes shook off the blitzed and fired a bullet flat-footed).
Credit Mahomes for taking adavantage of the mismatch, constantly. We have been on the other end of those mismatches time and time again [Reply]

This was simply amazing. Running to his right, throwing across his body, backing up all while about to get smashed, and still makes an incredible throw for a first down.
He wows with limited playing. I can’t wait to watch him next season as a starter.
Add in a new draft, sprinkle some FA and Chiefs future is very bright. Cheers to a great 2018! [Reply]
He wasn't "running to his right", he was running vertically away from the pressure and the receiver and STILL made the throw on the money. That is rare talent and arm strength on display there. [Reply]
