I actually feel sorry for the real fans. I don’t blame them for booing and leaving early. It’s a shitshow and it’s only beginning.
That said….Hackett’s extreme ineptitude might be a blessing in disguise. If he had just sucked, he’d probably be brought back for another year. But unprecedented, epic suckage may pave the way for Payton to replace him next year. [Reply]

I’m with you. Not only is it NOT hard to enjoy, I’m enjoying it so much I’m watching a replay of that absolute shit show on NFLN right now because I know how pathetically it ends for the donks. Their entire season and any hope for success during WalRuss the Fraud’s era has literally ended 5 games into his 5 yr deal. It’s SPECTACULAR!! :-)
The Donks
Walmart
Russell Wilson
Condoleeza Rice
Lewis Hamilton
I hate them all!! The last four before they even had any connection to the first one! I’m like a kid at Christmas Eve, but instead of Christmas being one day, it lasts for FIVE YEARS! :-) [Reply]

I'm telling you...that pivot was instigated by the previous owners...and the Walton group signed off on it. That's why they gave up whatever Seattle asked for...
He's just the GM...of a team that was being dealt for an insane amount of money. Is he going to refuse to do something against the people who pay (paid) his bills?
New owners wanted a franchise QB...no matter the cost. Cant say I blame them with Mahomes and Herbert in the division for the long haul.
This is what happens when you get a disconnected billionaire...that cant even pronounce Goodell's name, buying a team. They are just used to throwing money at a problem...$250 million for Moobs is nothing.
I said from the start this whole deal ran counter-intuitive to how you build a team....its actually blowing up worse than I thought. [Reply]

A major part of this is Denver’s terrible personnel. Russ has already been 16 times. He’s on pace to be sacked 54 times which would be the most in his career.
His TE’s aren’t as good. His WR’s are for damn sure a far cry from Metcalf/Lockett. Javonte Williams was really the only piece that you could say was better than what Seattle provided him but Chris Carson was good in his own right.
He’s worse but his terrible coach and personnel are a major factor here. I’m sure Pete Carroll an dJohn Schneider don’t mind. They’re probably laughing their asses off right now.
Holy shot they lost? :-) I turned this off and Denver was up 9 to 6 and in scoring range and they lose 12 to 9? :-) Was seriously the worst game I've seen in the last 2 decades up to that point [Reply]
I mean seriously, how do you recover from a shit show like that? Lost in that horrible fashion at home, booed by your home crowd who was streaming for the exits when the game was still in doubt before OT?
If you are a player on that team, you seriously have to be thinking "we have to do this 13 more times this year..."
I can't wait to hear about the almost TDs and how this bodes well for the Broncos.
I do wonder how much the league paid the ref to tackle the Indy defender on the long pass last night. I would not be surprised to see him as part of the all start Super Bowl crew this year. [Reply]

I think that was just a moment, suggesting otherwise seems silly and forced. Other than that, there’s no defense or excuse from me on the outcome. This offense is soulless, gutless and void of leadership. [Reply]
