Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Well, I can't argue with that.
I don't understand your stance, dude... Are you generally negative about Mahomes because you don't like Mahomes? Or do you not like him because Clay likes him? [Reply]

I think we can generally expect to see more interceptions with Mahomes.. it is something we are going to have to adapt to. But we will also likely see far fewer 20 yards and punts drives. And our defense has shown they can step it up and make stops, so it's not like Trent Green throwing a pick, which was pretty much handing the other team a TD. [Reply]

Good thing is they will be in practice not in live games destroying his confidence [Reply]

Yep, just like in college. Lots of yards and TDs. Doesn't win games but that's OK.
'Reporters Jim Chairusmi and Michael Salfino note that since 1996, nearly a dozen quarterbacks with losing college records have been taken in the first two rounds of the draft. None has turned into a superstar; the best among them is Cutler, who’s had 11 up-and-down seasons and played to a 68-71 record with the Broncos and Bears.' [Reply]

Lol. Some people are scared of a real damn QB. Blackledge, torretta and tebow won in college. If you have it you have it. Just about every u of m QB sucked when they were winning titles. [Reply]

Wow 12 QBs in 20 years. What a huge sample size [Reply]

I have also brought this up. Mahomes had to get tds every possession to win. They lost games several times when he put 35 to 40 points in the board so yeah he threw some questionable balls up. So what. His talent ceiling is big and that's why we went all in.
There will be no more stacking the line because our QB can't get put the ball on a rope 30 yards down field. Watsons arm is weak and probably a big reason we passed on him. His game was enhanced by a large receiver that back bailed him out and he had a defense that kept the score down. Those two things aided him a great deal. [Reply]
