We moved the ball a little better when Wilson started running around a bit. I wonder if his lack of movement when the “planned” offense is being run is his idea, Outten’s idea or Hackett’s idea.

We don't want him to be a running QB. Move in the pocket...yes. Occasionally run for 1st...sure. Generally we want him to play from the pocket and read a defense. He can do that.

Put another way, there are no old running QBs.

Agreed. I want him to move to create throwing lanes and escape the rush, not rack up rushing yards.

When Let's Reach thinks about all of the invisible players he drafted in the top 150 this year, which one do you think makes him Cryy Moore?

McDuffie's been hurt.

Karlaftis has been productive.

Cook, Chenal and Kinnard are all projects.

A 7th rounder he drafted is starting and just won us a crucial divisional game.

Skyy Moore is the only disappointment thus far, IMO, and it's too early to label him a bust.

This is a pretty normal draft class three weeks into a season.

Yeah weird considering Karlaftis entered this week 11th in pressures overall, tied for 1st among rookies with Hutchinson and 1st in batted passes. He’s been great.

They also got a 7th rd starting corner who won us a game and has played very well. Maybe the steal of the draft so far.

And that’s not counting McDuffie who looked good before getting injured.

It’s kinda funny bc the Broncos have gotten next to nothing from their draft class. It’s like they didn’t even draft players this year :-)

Just think, in 2023 it will be like they didn't even draft players, again. :-)

Boy what a post. Nick Bolton looks like an elite LB. On pace for an elite year.

Creed and Nick were elite level picks. So was Trey Smith.

Veach’s draft was better than Paton’s and he didn’t have as many picks

It's almost like they haven't drafted anyone since #35 two drafts ago.

Don't worry, Denver fans, you'll have high picks again just two short years from now. :-)

One muffed punt and the guy is a "disappointment" and we already need to clarify that he's not a bust yet lol

If you're disappointed that he's not more involved on offense, direct that towards the coaching staff.

I'm not ready to say he is an overall disappointment. We haven't even really seen what he can offer at WR yet.

But his first two punt returns (a muff and completely blown vision that resulted in us starting in our end zone) was certainly disappointing.

If Veach's 2022 draft class is invisible, Paton's draft class is fucking nonexistent.

Damarri Mathis (2022 4th round CB) actually played very well in the Texans game when Surtain was out.

Absolutely. He's been a disappointment on STs. No doubt.

I just fail to see how that has anything to do with his play as a WR, which is as TBD as it gets.

I'm not even sure that he should be returning punts period. He doesn't have experience with it, and it's the one way Hardman actually has added value.

Moore is a day 1 legitimate WR, Hardman is still a gadget/returner type in year 4. If Moore needs to make improvements at WR to get on the field, then just allow him to focus on that.

Sticking with your 10 win season prediction? Have to go 8-6 for the remainder of the year...
