According to the Sulphur Daily News, Heather Daughdrill initiated the relationship in June and it continued until a complaint was filed in October. After her arrest on November 29, police told the paper that Daughdrill would pick her victim up from school without his parents' knowledge and subject him to sexual encounters. Louisiana cops also reportedly found sexually explicit texts between Daughdrill and her victim.

Julie Léger was found guilty of professional misconduct by the Ontario College of Teachers
According to the college, the lurid allegations involved 12 different students in 2016-17 and 2019-20. The schools and the ages of all the students were not released. Among the allegations:
— Léger allegedly invited one student to sit with her under a blanket during a bus ride following a tournament. She allegedly rubbed the boy’s leg and penis and allowed him to rub her leg.
— She allegedly told another teacher of the canoodling: “Don’t worry, we go way back. We cuddle all the time.” Léger reportedly told the boy not to speak of their interaction.
— In the digital realm, she allegedly exchanged sexually charged texts with the same boy. She told him: “I love oral sex,” “Have you ever had a woman with 29 years of experience,” and “I’m so horny right now!”
— She allegedly heaped praise on the boys’ biceps, sometimes feeling them and inviting them to feel hers.
— Léger also entered the hotel room of her male athletes at an out-of-town tournament while the boys were in their boxers. She hugged them and was there to “tuck them into bed.”

There were also numerous other allegations, CTV reported.
Once, she allegedly tried to kiss another student when he arrived at school and frequently asked another student for hugs.
During a 2017 tournament, Léger is accused of rubbing anti-inflammatory cream on a student’s leg on the bench during the game. Later at a hotel room, she allegedly gave the boy a 10-to-15-minute rubdown while he lay on the bed.
During the 2018-19 school year, she reportedly told students: “I gotta watch out, now I can’t touch you guys because students will report me and I’ll get in trouble for flirting with you.”
A woman who was described as an employee at a high school has been charged with several child sex crimes.
Rikki Laughlin, 25, of Saint James, was charged on Monday with possession of child pornography, tampering with a victim, second-degree statutory rape, sexual exploitation of a minor, tampering with physical evidence, furnishing pornographic material to a minor and second-degree child sex trafficking.
A warrant was issued Monday and a $100,000 bond was set. An entry of appearance was filed, according to online court records. Casenet indicates that Laughlin posted a surety bond. A bond appearance hearing was scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20.
The probable cause statement does not detail Laughlin’s position with the high school, and redacts the name of the school, aside from “High School R-1 School District.”
According to the probable cause statement, Laughlin sent pornographic material of herself to an under-aged student through the social media application Snapchat. The child victim told law enforcement there was physical contact at the school after Laughlin reached out on the app, the statement says.
The probable cause statement says the victim told law enforcement that Laughlin invited him to her house when her husband was not home, but the victim came up with reasons for not meeting because he did not feel comfortable. The victim then told law enforcement that Laughlin told him to delete all images and videos she sent and acknowledged she could get jail time, the statement says.
Laughlin was interviewed by law enforcement on Oct. 14 and she denied the allegations, according to the statement. She allegedly said she shut down contact several times until law enforcement told her they knew about videos and photographs being sent to a minor, the statement reads. She allegedly said she didn’t know he was a minor “until yesterday.”
Laughlin allegedly asked law enforcement “So what happens?” The statement says she did not deny sending or receiving the photographs and videos.
Laughlin was then placed under arrested and was brought to the Maries County Jail, the statement reads.
