He seems decent at soccer but is definitely not a pro and isn't even remotely close to giving it everything hes got and he's just embarrassing her. Exhibit A for why no one watches female sports outside of shit like tennis.

Would seem BMI would give you your answer there, no?
Women just have higher body fat percentages than men as a rule. That's going to make them a little more buoyant. Probably not enough to matter over any relatively short period of time (not enough to offset the difference in raw power anyway) but it would seem over distance that starts to show up.
Interesting. It does look like marathon swims, especially the open water ones, favor women. [Reply]

It really doesn’t matter if men are better than women in a sport paywise. What matters is what they pull in.
The men’s soccer team deserves more. However it’s not as cut and dry since uswnt do pull their weight. Not just in gate revenue but they basically created a whole category of sponsorships that Nike etc has rained with money. It’s not because it’s a better product but for many women it’s a more relatable product.
So both things can be true at the same time. That equal pay is a ludicrous idea but fair pay is fair to question and with any CBA I trust that players are telling the truth way more than the administrators who don’t open their books. [Reply]
