My av is more real than the nfl. That I do believe. I was waiting for a Hogan leg drop finisher from Manning.

He missed open receivers all night. Many think he threw the game.

Makes sense. I mean, two years ago, Denver played the role of Ric Flair and putting the young guns 'over' in the SB. The payback, was the storybook ending 2 years later. So, next year - the league sets up Brady vs Newton. Will *this* be Brady's last season and will Cam fall to another great QB?

However, just like the Montreal screwjob... at the last minute, the Panthers take the title from a confused and tearful Brady.

(boom) I mean, the scripts just write themselves.

It's pretty obvious isn't it. They rake in billions while laughing at us peasants in the process.

Funny you should mention the Super Bowl of 2 years ago and the scripts writing themselves... Go back and watch the beginning of that game and see how it was all lining up in Denver's favor. Pay attention to the early calls and especially to Wilson's 3rd down scramble and the terrible spot he got. The script was there that day too BUT the deal was that Seattle was just so much better that day, that no amount of pushing was going to help Denver. Seattle was good enough to change it and then 43-8 happened. Conversely, Carolina was not good enough and All Denver needed were a few plays here and there.

1. Ruling the 1st quarter catch was incomplete...kept Carolina from gaining momentum early. (And kept them pinned deep in their own territory - strip sack TD NEXT play. That TD lead held through the first half) The officiating commentary and ref on phone even said, live, it would be overturned...2. They picked up a defensive penalty with no explanation on a 3rd down play...which killed a drive deep in Broncos territory. 3. They ignored Talib's offsides..which would have forced a re-kick. 4 Ignored an obvious PI call on another 3rd down play by Carolina deep in Denver territory and they had to settle for a FG instead of a 1st and goal. (But called a DB for holding against Carolina when role was reversed, that led to a short Denver TD) 5. No penalties on Denver the whole 2nd half.

All of this actually happened. I was laughing, not in total disbelief but rather in total belief, that it was. Denver was dominating on defense - I'll give them credit for that - but the calls and non-calls made sure that Carolina was not going to be able to play their way out of that situation. A correct call here & there might have changed that. Nope -not in Manning's last game. Not with 200 quarters of Super Bowl play and Manning going after his 200th win. Carolina needed to play worlds better to flip the script - like Seattle did two years ago. They didn't. The end.

Yep. All year beginning with week 1 against Baltimore. MHM once asked me to list the games. I did. I quit at 6. There were more. :-)

Yep....they could dump Manning, Ware and Clady.....and be up to $44 million in cap space. That's more than enough to bring all of their FAs back. No clue on what they'd do about the QB position though.

What "lies" ahead in 2016...dont care. I've witnessed 2 postseason's full of lies..the Detroit game and now this fairy tale sham job.

Interesting that the head official had done 6 Denver games....6-0. Wonder why that flag was picked up without an explanation? I dont...he realized it was 3rd down.

KC will never be allowed to advance to the SB.....Their QB doesn't do enough pizza ads.

Hell no...Luck returns from injury. Colts are SB bound. Brady got his miracle win when the Seahawks ignored Lynch. That was the penitence for the Manning blow-out. Have to play the "good soldier" role....Brady repaid them by ignoring a wide open Gronk on the 2 point try. Wilson played horribly against Carolina..while being the hottest QB down the stretch....then Palmer tanked out with like 6 turnovers. Then Carolina no shows in the SB...after putting up 49.
