Why do people watch wrasslin, movies, or TV shows? It's pathetic seeing the season play out this way...Absolutely pathetic they think people would buy into this garbage abortion of a finale. [Reply]

Then why didn't you pick Denver in the first place? [Reply]

Because it's still entertainment regardless if it's pushed in the direction of a desired outcome. I can't tell you how many times I've watched the Big Lebowski, even though I know how it ends. The NFL abides man...:-)
Also TONS of people watch the WWF. Fake as hell but it's still entertainment... [Reply]

Oh i won some coin on it...no doubt about it. Based off the respective talents, they should have lost, but Roger Kennedy McMahon wasn't going to allow it. [Reply]

I get that... what I find interesting is the commentary from some that makes you believe they have such disdain for the league and they loathe everything that happens, yet they still watch. Why watch something that gives you such frustration? [Reply]

Lol but you kept quoting me,saying I was wrong and Denver was losing.
Proof you can't read people's thoughts from words on a screen [Reply]
I'm going to guess they lose maybe Jackson or Trevathan, as both will be wanting large-ish money in FA. Von will get paid and they can afford the rest, provided no one offers a huge deal for Brock.
They can also dump the aging DeMarcus Ware and their cap goes up to $40 mil. [Reply]

Malik Jackson alone will want $12m. Trevathan wil get overpaid somewhere, Miller will want $20m and Brock will want a nice deal himself.

You're right there. One needs to chill out and realize it's entertainment. IMO, there is definitely a league biased toward a certain outcome. The games aren't "rigged" but there is a push towards a desired result. You get several "pushes" go against a team, and it can be all down hill. It used to get me frustrated as hell, but now I just wait for the "push" and count them when they occur, shake my head and laugh. Give my opinion on the matter and see who's with me or against. In my mind it's my game within that game. Works for me. [Reply]

They're going to lose some guys.
The Broncos will look a lot different next year... Von will be paid, but several key players will be gone and paid well by other teams. Brock will likely get a nice check as well. Would suck to see Ware go, but I'll bet he's a cap casualty. [Reply]

And you can add Ryan Clady who is under contract for $10 mil. Cutting him would leave a little over $1 mil in dead money and free up a little under $9 mil in cap space. He has already told the team that he is willing to restructure so we'll see how that goes. [Reply]

If the NFL wanted Manning to win so much, why didn't the Broncos win the SB 2 years ago? I mean, that would have been a much better win for Manning and that high powered offense. Instead, he gets his last SB win playing like crap, throwing INTs and losing fumbles.
The Broncos didn't win the SB because of Manning, they won it in spite of Manning. Their defense was/is dominant and that is because of the players the Broncos drafted and the team Elway has put together. The Broncos went 5-2 with Osweiler and then brought back an old, broke Manning and still managed to win the SB although all the pundits WANTED CAM NEWTON TO WIN IT. [Reply]
