The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Buffalo's owner was so dumb he hired Sean McDermottt, a defensive assistant with no front office experience and allowed him to run the 2017 draft as the general manager.
The year that the greatest QB talent to ever play in the NFL came out. What did Mcdermott do?
He wanted Mitch Trubisky and when he was gone traded away the pick to KC so he could drop down and acquire a nice scheme fit corner for his defense.

If he had another MVP and 2 titles we could at least discuss it but he has won NOTHING even with a better defense than Mahomes over the course of their careers
I will say that he probably deserved MVP over Lamar last season. [Reply]

It was literally claimed that "Andy Reid CAN'T win the big one." Not that he hasn't, it was that he CAN'T.

The funny part is right now "Allen is king!!!!" when it was only two weeks ago when he set the record for lowest completion percentage in a game.
Speaking of alt universes...
I was sitting around bored this morning and i read about how dickie was going on about Josh being the best so i thought, i wonder what an average season looks like for each QB. So i grabbed my spreadsheet (get ur mind outta the gutter) and threw some numbers together.
Keep in mind, this doesn't really settle anything except to show that Pat is so far above everyone else, in every scenario--regular season/playoffs/average/etc--it's kind of silly to think about comparing anyone to him.
So that said, here we go. If you take every game these QBs have played and average it all out to a 17 game season here's how it looks. Vertically is the category, att/comp td/int, etc. Horizontally is their "average season" based on all the games they've played. I color coded who was 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category and who was worst in each category. The table on the right is their total number of 1s, 2s, etc and the number on the bottom is those rankings added up. You obv want that number to be the smallest, ie, you're 1st or 2nd in most areas.
Looks like Joshy didn't get any 1s, 2s or 3s, while just about everyone else did. Except for poor Tlaw who is just utterly bad.
Anyway, i'm a numbers guy and i like doing this for shits and giggs and may you do too...or don't. Whatev. Check it out.

Their site, their rules. Therefore, this will be my last post.
As my last post, I will simply give you my “bullet points of facts that are mostly opinions with some facts interspersed”:
- Barring injury, I think the Bills and Chiefs meet again in the playoffs. If both teams are fully healthy, I see the Bills winning that game. The Chiefs simply have not shown that they can generate enough points.
- Travis Kelce has had a great career, but he’s toast. I really don’t like seeing guys at the end of their career. It’s kind of sad. I want to remember them at their best.
- It’s amazing the difference that Cooper had for the Bills offense today. The Titans had the #1 defense going into today and Allen shredded them to the tune of 300+ yards and 2 TD’s (should have been 3 TD if not for a controversial overturned TD).
- Look up Ray Davis. He is going to be … what’s the word… not a star, but whatever the word is a level or two below that. Well known player, maybe? Like the Thielen of RB’s I guess? He is a stud. A great compliment to Cook.
- Keon Coleman really played well today. My only concern for him is that he is slow as molasses but wow can he adjust mid air and catch a ball. The Bills offense has been missing this type of player for a long time.
- The Bills new stadium is really coming together. I can’t believe they aren’t building a dome, but they say about 60% of the seats are covered by the canopy.
- Since the start of the 2022 season, Allen has more PASSING touchdowns, and less interceptions, than Patrick Mahomes. That is a fact that might surprise some of you.
- Since the start of the 2020 season, Allen and Mahomes are tied for PASSING touchdowns, and Allen has 30 more TD’s overall. x.com/joshallenstats/status/1848147396938629155?s=46
- Those previous 2 bullet points just go to show that Allen has not just outplayed Mahomes this year - he has outplayed Mahomes over the past 2.5 years.
- Rfaulk… I’d be interested in seeing that same spreadsheet but without each QB’s rookie season. Me-guess it looks quite different.
- Someone above said that Allen should have won MVP last year. I agree. But I genuinely don’t think the NFL wants Allen in that role. If he doesn’t win it this year, then you know for sure they have him typecast.
- I always said I will only post in this thread, and I stuck to that. I hope that means something.
Well, I think that’s it. I hope you all have a great life. It was honestly a pleasure.
.
Allen had his chance last play-offs (at home)...or are you forgetting the underneath route to Diggs he ignored in crunch time? Easier to blame Bass I guess. He doesnt have the clutch gene that Mahomes has...is what it is.
You should re-watch last years SB...the drive in OT when Mahomes is down 3. Allen hasnt shown he can pull that off...or the run on a sprained ankle in the Eagles SB.
In the 13 second game...one of his late 4th quarter TDs was because the CB fell down. There is no guarantee the Bills score on that drive without it happening.
Maybe Allen can get a MVP this year...like Jackson did last year. Until he proves he can will his to team to win in the highest pressure games...he wont get the respect you think he deserves. [Reply]
