The way the Broncos look reminds me so much of the Matt Cassel/Todd Haley era. We trade for this guy and pay him/give up assets and he is not good and Haley’s coaching is pretty terrible.

:-) "good"? No. Perhaps we could pencil him in as mediocre, at best. Put a couple nice drives together against absolute tire fire defenses, but his failure in the redzone is a massive scarlet letter right now. But, even if you want to pass these couple performances against the dregs of the NFL as "good", the trade is still a massive failure since he's nowhere near the elite QBs of the conference, and that's what you gave multiple firsts and seconds, and a sub 250 million dollar contract for. This is probably the truth. Taking into consideration past decisions about head coaches and QBs I have no doubt that this team would choose Russell Wilson over Aaron Rodgers. :-) [Reply]
:-) If Broncos fans want to argue that Hackett was hired on his own merits instead of a desperate gambit to lure Rodgers, let them. Those implications are far more hilarious. [Reply]

I’m assuming you’re trolling, right? Jimmy G put up a higher QBR passing for 160 yards and 1 TD against the same Seahawks team yesterday. Yardage doesn’t mean shit in the NFL today. [Reply]
If you watch the game, you can see that Wilson isn't an issue and miles better than the last QB we had. The comment was comparing Cassel to Wilson and it's just not even close to the same thing. [Reply]

Maybe when you ignore his age and clear decline, along with the draft picks and contract.... [Reply]
