Oh BS! At the time, literally everyone was saying that Rodgers to denver was inevitable because they hired can't hackett.

Spoiler!
I mean, I can understand your desperate coping attempt to treat the Seattle game as nothing more than a nightmare but Wilson threw at least 2 balls right into the hands of Seattle defenders that dropped them.

And he threw a pick yesterday.

Obviously, they had AR as target #1... the comment was more about having also considered and worked with SEA well before AR wasn't being dealt. Appears they had been working on Plan A and Plan B for some time.

Maybe if WalRuss doesn't throw into tripple coverage, he doesn't get picked. Another bad decision in a long list of bad decisions by WalRuss

But but it wasn’t his fault!

I'm curious how it's interception luck when the WR gets tackled and there's a flag?

Sutton had multiple drops yesterday. Jeudy too.

Imagine trying to keep this delusion from crumbling. Poor SlowMo

Let's be real, Denver has two high end talent at the offensive skill positions, Sutton and Williams, and they both played yesterday. Trying to deflect the blame off Wilson is just fucking feeble.

Yes, as a back up plan to not getting Rodgers. They wanted Rodgers. Even everyone in NFL circles knew this. RW was Plan B. Plan A was convince Rodgers to come there by hiring his offensive coach and paying him bigly. It fell through. Plan B was trade for RW, take it up the pooper on draft capital and eventually have to pay him as well (although not as much as ARod).

I said 'last minute switch' because ARod was the plan all along and when they went up to the 13th hour to try and get something done and realized it wasn't gonna happen, then they pivoted to RW at the last minute (which, yes, they had discussed previously). But it was clearly Option B. Based on the Hackett hiring (a guy who is CLEARLY not ready to be a head coach in the NFL) and all the draft capital they would have to give up getting RW. They knew what the cost was going in and knew it was going to 'hurt' if they couldn't lure ARod there.

Thus, here we are.

I can't believe that NFL teams continue to hire coaches that were propped up by elite QBs.

Hell, Denver had a coach get "hired away" to Miami that got propped up by Manning.

Just stay away!

Like they always are. I said as much before the season started.

I hope you’ve stocked up on your meds because it’s going to be a long season. Keeping a fantasy going is exhausting work

But we were told Montrell Washington was a STUD, same with Albert O, so those 2 with Sutton, and a GREAT OL, should be enough for your ELITE QB.
