Of all the things that didn't go well last night and let's just say there were like 20 things... that decision was by far and away the worst thing that I've seen in a very long time. I was so disappointed.
Some of my fondest football memories involve vomit inducing last minute heroic attempts to "just get these last few yards" to let a barefoot kicker nail a FG to win or let' go for it and get that first down and spike the ball.
That last minute was like... just the absolute worst. It was like "fuck it... 47, 54, 64 - phhht. What's the difference?" You just don't make the moves to go get your QB and then not let him try to be the hero in that moment. Just stupid. [Reply]
