News flash- This aint the 70's and 80's.. this isn't the era of Tarkenton and Montana- College football is so different from the NFL it aint even funny...If you look at the great QB's today- They all have something in common- They are all pocket passers.. You ever wonder why QB's like RG3, Newton, Hell, even Steve McNair never won a SB?
If you go back and look at Mahomes college tapes- he's a 7 step drop back passer.. why? Because when shit breaks down he's given the green light to run- well, that aint gonna happen in the NFL.. he tries that shit and DE's will break his neck drilling him out of bounds 5 yards behind the LOS- I watched tape of him where he had wide open slants 8-10 yards in the middle and pulled back and rolled out hoping to connect on some sandlot football "chuck"..
