Denver has only had a QB throw for 300 yards four times in the past two years, Russ did it in his very first game against a team who knew him better than anyone. What do you think he's going to do against the rest of the league?
Coulda woulda shoulda. Bottom line is he didn't and it cost them what was supposed to be a layup win.
Now you're last in the division and first in our hearts

Lose!
He's not that good anymore. Seattle might just get 2 TOP 10 draft picks next draft. :-) [Reply]

NextGenStats' probability model estimated the odds of McManus making a 64-yd FG in that situation to be 14.2%.
The probability of Denver converting 4th and 5 in that situation was 42.1%.

I agree, 14% seems way too high. And the pass is too low you'd think given how the game was going. Either way, just incredibly stupid and weak. [Reply]

Oh yeah, I forgot about the ball he literally threw directly to the CB with no one else close. Funny how that isn't factored into what "should" have happened. :-)
If everything that could've happened happened, they probably still lose. [Reply]

Oof. The only sports talk radio show I still listen to on a regular basis is just destroying Hackett this morning. John "The Guru" Hansen just called both he and his dad straight-up JAGS. He doesn't normally go after guys in the league quite that hard, but he didn't hold anything back in terms of the complete ineptitude Hackett displayed last night. Said he never should've been hired.
