Today, the Kansas City Chiefs complete the greatest five-year run in NFL history by winning the third Super Bowl in the Patrick Mahomes era, and the fourth in the franchise's glorious history.
I don't have a HUGE issue with this, but I was a little surprised they threw the flag. I would have guessed that a "horse-collar tackle" would require a "tackle" to be called. [Reply]

When the rule was new, the tackler was required to fall on their target’s legs to draw a flag. The rules expert on the SB broadcast mentioned the officials only need to see the knees buckle during a horse collar these days. [Reply]

I don't think that should have drawn a fine. I guess next time go ahead and finish the tackle by ripping the guy down. [Reply]

It was jersey tackle more than anything, should not have been flagged at all, the cast /white glove makes it look worse like the hand got inside his pads [Reply]
I don't know, or care, if this is Q. There are some great shots from our games. I loved the eyes of Mahomes when he did the pump fake against Buffalo, but there are so, so many great shots of our SB run.
All games are segmented, titled, I don't know what the actual term is. I may watch other games too, but right now I only watched our games.
I think Kyle is great at what he does but on key 3rd downs his system is easier to defend. He relies on manageable 2nd downs to do damage witb play action. However he's never had a good quarterback before. Never a franchise guy. Matt Ryan is probably close to it when he was OC in Atlanta and he made the guy an MVP. [Reply]
