They are good and tough, noon game at Arrowhead. Your thoughts?

Hunter Nourzad, Ethan Driskell, and CJ Hanson haven't logged pass-blocking snaps

That leaves 19 sacks unaccounted for by the Offensive Line, which means blitz pickups are severely lacking by RBs and TEs and/or Mahomes is rolling into sacks.
Where's Trey Smith? He got boat raced by both Denver and Buffalo.

PFF is garbage, they'd be better off rating soccer players

Sorry, yeah 0. I think they are off a bit but they aren't 19 sacks off a bit. Even if you gave everyone on the O-Line at least 1 more and Smith a couple, you're dealing with at least a dozen or so that are "other problems."

PFF will attribute sacks to the QB, sometimes to coverage and sometimes to "man, everyone failed..."

So it wouldn't shock me if half the sacks go unaccounted for.

Ultimately it means that the sack totals are kinda meaningless though they DO seem to at least track if/when someone gets strafed.

No doubt Mahomes has been at fault for many of them. So it seems that outside of Wanya and Kingsley the line hasn’t been as bad as it’s felt.

And 11 penalties… tied for the third most committed by a player this season.

Any remaining apologists still willing to defend Jawaan Taylor?

The Skyy Less of free agent signings.

Taylor is a good pass blocker who, when he is not good, is horrible.

So the Chiefs deal with his perfect pass blocking 90 percent of the time and live with the abortions the other 10 percent.

Jawaan was an awesome tackle in the playoffs. 2 penalties and 1 sack given up in 4 playoff games. Don’t ever compare Jawaan Taylor to that worthless POS Skyy Moore

Is that going to translate to this year?

Because he’s been awful.
