This is a massive hole that is filled for the #chiefs. Trent McDuffie is considered by almost everyone as the 3rd best CB in this draft. The first two went off the board at 3 and 4.
The @Chiefs make a big move for a top CB (and my model's #8 overall prospect) in Trent McDuffie, who allowed 3.1 yards/target in 2021 at Washington (best in FBS, min. 30 targets).
Could be a key piece to counter the wealth of receiving talent in the AFC come playoff time!

Veach knows what to do, certainly, but we've got Sneed, Fenton, Williams, Watson. We can run dime with that and anything/everything else. Plus, we've got some safeties we can throw in as a zone guy. And to be honest, I'm just not freaking the fuck out about the possibility of Lammons coming in and having to cover some team's Demarcus Robinson.
As long as McDuffie isn't out too long, I doubt Veach goes and gets another guy. [Reply]

Sucks, but we've had good injury luck over the last few seasons and it was bound to start evening out.
We lost most of our starting OL to injury in 2020, I wouldn’t call that good luck. [Reply]

I don't normally wish injuries on teams, but I certainly wouldn't cry to see a lot of Cardinal players suffer similar injuries on their own crappy field. [Reply]

I think they had players hurt as well. However having a bad field is inexcusable in the NFL. They should owe us picks, if it's a Mexico situation and players get hurt the NFL should owe compensatory picks. I'm just tired of poor field conditions that aren't related to game time weather injuring people. If it's a monsoon or blizzard I can excuse it but the fact a billion dollar franchise can't grow grass seems like a them problem. [Reply]
