I have no reservation in saying that Russ is going to continue to compete with his style, and then as that begins to slow down a little bit, I think he'll adjust. That's just who he is. He finds a way to win."
After shaking off the rust from his finger injury, Wilson led the NFL in Total QBR over the final two games of 2021. His eight combined touchdowns included a 4-yard rushing score.
Don’t forget that Russell Wilson didn’t even want to be in Denver. He clearly stated a year prior he preferred the Cowboys, Bears, Saints and Raiders (:-)).
And Denver didn’t want him at first either. It’s no secret Denver hired Hackett to lure Rodgers. He was who they wanted but settled on Wilson.

So the same guy who was interested in replacing Wilson with Mahomes or Allen now believes that Drew Lock is the answer? You can't be foolish enough to actually believe that Lock was the centerpiece of the trade...right? :-) [Reply]
