I'm not being rude. Its a great way to talk to people. But every girl I've ever met will totally flirt and be slutty online, and then they clam up when you actually see them in person.
Its like they feel like its safer to be uninhibited. Anyway, I think she wants you, but I can barely pick up signs from women. It takes her basically smacking me in the face with her boobs before I think, "I think she may be interested in me..." [Reply]

While I don't think people should be slutty, I can say that it's much easier to be outgoing when you're sitting behind a keyboard. You don't feel like they're not listening to you because they're focusing on your looks. he downfall is that females tend to have slightly lower standards where men are concerned as long as his personality makes up for it. This sets a lot of women up for disappointment. They get to know and like the guy, and looks, while important, only make up so much. However, if the guy isn't impressed with the woman's looks, then any personality she has get tossed aside as well. Most women have experienced this, so they hold the're breath and hope for the best when meeting. If we're quiet, it's because we're waiting for a reaction or the bottom to drop out from under us. Personality matters. With all the serious bitches I've been with lately, I want a very specific personality, and no one else will do.
She's got to be open-minded (none of this self-righteous crap), interesting, and have a wild streak in her. I'm tired of all of these girls who think a Saturday night is curling up to a movie. I wanna go do SOMETHING, just to get on my feet.
I'm an adventurous kind a guy, and if a girl can't keep up, no amount of good looks are going to keep me from getting bored with her. [Reply]

My metabolism is much higher now than it was 11 months ago. I'll be fine. I don't plan to stop working out or start eating unhealthy foods.
Ok. I am glad you are confident. Everyone feels 10 feet tall and bulletproof when they are losing weight. It when it stops for extended periods of time (and it will) that it becomes a struggle. When leptin and other feedback systems kick in, it really becomes a struggle.
Hopefully you won't be one of the 98% of dieters that regain their lost weight within two years. A couple of articles here may be able to help:

It's not meant to be motivational. Most people that try to lose weight only focus on the weight loss part. They think life will be rainbows and butterflies once the weight is gone. When the ugly reality hits that there is no end and it's work for the rest of your life and they aren't prepared, the weight comes back full force, with reinforcements. It gets harder to lose each time, too.
Doesn't mean you don't try. Just expect it to happen and make sure you have a plan for it. [Reply]
