The #Chiefs are hiring Steve Spagnuolo as their new defensive coordinator, sources say. The former #Giants DC and interim HC/#Rams HC began his NFL coaching career as an #Eagles assistant under Andy Reid. Now rejoins Big Red in KC.
credit to spags. the amount of guys that went down - important guys - at the very start of the game must have caused a variety of pages from the playbook to be torn out. the on-fly-adjustments came slow but he deserves flowers for figuring something out to patch together a couple key stops.
only complaint is why the **** was farrell inactive. also nnadi isn't the greatest but he was clearly missed. gonna need to add some beef for the ravens. [Reply]
My heart rate was too high all game to appreciate how the defense shut down the Bills passing attack. Only 2 completions over 6 yards. That's fucking crazy. [Reply]
Not afraid to all out blitz (Sutton rarely blitzed).
He is known for excellent halftime adjustments (Sutton was repeatedly criticized for lack of in game adjustments).
His defenses do get rushed early at times, but have had excellent second halves (Sutton’s D’s usually had a great gameplan but were remembered for second half collapses). [Reply]
